
Moving to Connecticut in 1979, she taught piano and voice in her home for the next 20 years, teaching 45 students of all ages, while maintaining an active performing and accompanying career.
Performing extensively throughout the New England area and the South, she has been soprano soloist in works as varied as Manhattan Transfer’s Operator, Brahm’s Requiem, Bach’s St. John Passion, Handel’s Messiah, and Schubert lieder. Judith has given piano and lieder recitals, performed at the Yale British Art Museum as well as the New Haven Historical Society, and in local retirement communities, libraries, and churches.
Now living in WNC, Judith teaches privately at Asheville Music School in Asheville, NC, in her home in Hendersonville, and in student homes in Biltmore Forest, Biltmore Lake, Biltmore Park, and Hendersonville.
She is President of the Asheville Area Piano Forum and serves on the Education Committee of the NoteAble Youth project in Asheville, NC.
